About the position

As an Amazon Sortation Center Warehouse Associate, you will be an integral part of the dedicated Amazon team that serves as the first stop on the journey from the warehouse to the customer. This role is fast-paced and physical, taking place in a sortation center where you will be responsible for sorting, scanning, and stacking packages on pallets to prepare customer orders for delivery. The position offers flexibility, allowing you to choose shifts that best fit your schedule, with the option to adjust your hours as needed in the future. At an Amazon Sortation Center, safety is a top priority. You will be provided with protective gear and will participate in daily safety briefings with your team. The work environment includes moving machines such as order pickers and forklifts, and while the temperature is controlled, it can vary between 60°F and 90°F in different areas of the warehouse.
