Job Summary

As a Customer Order Picker within Walmarts Online Grocery Fulfillment team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our customers receive their grocery orders accurately, promptly, and in perfect condition. Operating in a fast-paced environment, you will be responsible for selecting and preparing products for online orders, providing excellent service, and contributing to Walmarts mission to save people money so they can live better.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately pick and pack grocery items from shelves and refrigerated areas based on online orders.

  • Use handheld devices to receive, process, and confirm customer orders.

  • Ensure that selected items are fresh, in perfect condition, and meet Walmarts quality standards.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of picking stations and work areas.

  • Handle perishable and non-perishable items with care, adhering to food safety standards.

  • Work collaboratively with store associates to meet daily fulfillment targets and ensure timely order preparation.

  • Assist customers courteously if approached while fulfilling orders.

  • Report any inventory or equipment issues to supervisors promptly.

  • Follow Walmarts safety protocols and company policies at all times.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED (preferred but not mandatory).

  • Ability to use mobile devices and order fulfillment systems.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Dependable and punctual with a positive, team-oriented attitude.
