Position: Generalist Data Annotation Expert

Referral Partner: Crossing Hurdles

Type: Hourly Contract

Compensation: $40/hour

Location: Remote

Duration: Through December, with potential extension

Commitment: 10-40 hours/week

Role Responsibilities (Training support will be provided)

  • Synthesize and interpret large volumes of diverse data.
  • Annotate and categorize text, images, and other data types according to predefined detailed guidelines and taxonomies.
  • Apply rubrics and standardization protocols to ensure consistent and high-quality output.
  • Identify and flag inconsistencies, ambiguities, or errors within datasets.
  • Contribute directly to the enhancement and refinement of AI systems.

Requirements

  • Strong ability to organize and structure complex or large datasets.
  • Experience with rubrics, taxonomies, or standardized annotation guidelines is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Detail-oriented and able to work independently in a fully remote, asynchronous environment.
