The Global Insights team is the central hub of knowledge for Reddit, responsible for making sense of all the first party and third party data available about the people and communities on the platform. As such, the team plays a critical role in helping our sales and marketing teams articulate the value of Reddit to advertisers and the industry at large.</p><p>Sitting on the greatest repository of conversation data that’s ever existed, Reddit has long been at the forefront of training and developing AI models. We believe that the insights field has only begun to scratch the surface of how AI can transform methodologies and findings, and this hybrid role will be instrumental in building new processes and products to automate the extraction of insights from this treasure trove of data.</p><p>As Reddit is a rapidly growing company, there is significant opportunity to drive impact within Reddit and foster your career growth long term. This hire will have a chance to collaborate with cross-functional teams like product, engineering, data science and marketing to connect novel data sources, optimize AI models to drive business value, and streamline internal workflows.</p><h2><b>Responsibilities:</b></h2><ul><li><b>Expand Reddit’s data infrastructure for an AI world:</b></li><li>Build off Reddit’s robust data infrastructure to ensure seamless data flow and connectivity across insights touch points for Reddit’s marketing, growth, sales and global insights teams.</li><li>Evaluate potential integrations with third-party (3P) data to support new proofs of concept and production-grade solutions.</li><li><b>Optimize existing AI outputs:</b></li><li>You’ll improve the quality of existing large language model (LLM) outputs for specific use cases like conversation analysis, trend detection and formulating strategic implications.</li><li>You will build a framework to evaluate LLM outputs and rapidly optimize on prompts and data inputs.</li><li><b>Put the power of AI agents into production:</b></li><li>Test different agent frameworks and services to build a repeatable framework for training, deploying and evaluating agentic AI.</li><li>Evaluate and prioritize use cases for agentic AI such as chain-of-thought data analysis, automating actions like report creation, or generating brand assets based on user input and institutional knowledge</li><li><b>Build out intuitive touchpoints for stakeholders in marketing, growth, sales and Global Insights:</b></li><li>Build out beautiful dashboards that make new types of analysis and cuts of data available to stakeholders</li><li>Automate the creation of established insights reports and e-mail newsletter</li><li>Collaborate with engineering and product to build a front-end application that accepts user input, surfaces proactive insights, and aesthetically packages ready-to-use insights.</li></ul><h2><b>Qualifications:</b></h2><ul><li>3+ years of relevant experience:</li><li>Must have AI expertise, including using it to transform processes, build new tooling, etc</li><li>Should also have experience in agency planning, brand strategy, cultural insights, trends or consumer behavior.</li><li>An early adopter who isn’t afraid to embrace new techniques and technologies to push the boundaries of what insights can do now that AI is mainstream.</li><li>Advanced SQL user, experienced using databases like BigQuery or Druid.</li><li>Has built and maintained resilient data pipelines using Apache Airflow or similar</li><li>Deployed REST API integrations that land data in a warehouse like BigQuery</li><li>Understands the core concepts of building and deploying an MCP server</li><li>Has built and deployed a framework for optimizing LLM prompts, RAG process and evaluating LLM outputs</li><li>Has launched a project that utilized multi-agent orchestration</li><li>Experience building dashboards and data visualization using tools like Looker or Hex or frameworks like React or Plotly Dash</li><li>A “Yes, and” personality who’s looking to build upon rather than critique.</li><li>High-level understanding of social listening tools and market research/measurement techniques</li><li>Comprehensive Healthcare Benefits and Income Replacement Programs</li><li>401k Match</li><li>Family Planning Support</li><li>Mental Health & Coaching Benefits</li><li>Flexible Vacation & Reddit Global Days off</li><li>Paid Volunteer time off</li></ul><p><b>Pay Transparency:</b></p><p>This job posting may span more than one career level.</p><p>In addition to base salary, this job is eligible to receive equity in the form of restricted stock units, and depending on the position offered, it may also be eligible to receive a commission.
