For more information, visit redditinc.com .</p><p>We are searching for a strategic community management and operations expert to join the International Community team and help grow our client outside of the US. <strong>As an integral part of the Product organization, the International Community team plays a key role in helping team realize its mission: bringing community and belonging to<em>everyone in the world</em></strong>.</p><p>As the Community Operations Specialist, you will be at the forefront of jumpstarting and fostering local communities. You will be an expert of the Dutch market, proficient in English, and focused on proactive initiatives to build bridges with local volunteer moderators and innovate, iterate, refine, and scale our international consumer playbook. The insights derived from your relationships and experiments will help accelerate our growth in Netherlands.</p><p>This is a rare opportunity to join a new team at one of the most influential consumer products on the internet. If developing and proving out a community relations and growth playbook<strong>in close tandem with Product</strong> that unlocks the next hundreds of millions of global users excites you, then you’ve found the right place!</p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong>:</p><ul><li>Gain a deep understanding of the market and specialized knowledge to identify user and moderator pain points, competitors, and market opportunities.</li><li>Cultivate, recruit, educate, and grow a local community of moderators (i.e., the volunteers who are developing, maintaining, and crafting the culture of local communities) and implement a conversion funnel to onboard external creators and local users to turn them into active moderators.</li><li>Be a public face with our local volunteer moderators to build trust and drive engagement in local communities, mediating conflicts and helping drive solutions.</li><li>Iterate, innovate, and scale the consumer growth playbook by recognizing new opportunities, suggesting bold ideas and programs, and persuading internal teams to align on new plans.</li><li>Communicate quantitative and qualitative insights to optimize and improve the international consumer growth playbook.</li><li>Be obsessive about achieving aggressive goals and outcomes.</li><li>Run reports, build dashboards, analyze data, set KPIs, and execute impactful community initiatives: leverage data to uncover community and moderator insights that will influence the direction of your market pod.</li><li>Work cross-functionally with Product, Community, Engineering, Marketing, Safety, and BD teams.</li></ul><p><strong>What We Can Expect From You:</strong></p><ul><li>5+ years of community development, project management, growth, operations, or product consulting experience with a track record of community-led projects that have driven business impact.</li><li>Deep knowledge and understanding of Dutch culture, including current events, politics, customs, traditions, language, topics of interest, taboos, etc.</li><li>Nuanced comprehension of the digital landscape and the cultural intricacies inherent within it.
