MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

To deliver optimal support towards processes and procedures in the nursing unit


KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

Perform administrative duties


Assist with patient administration related functions


Control pharmaceutical stock


Deliver a reception service


REQUIRED EDUCATION

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION:  Grade 12 (with computer literacy subjects or an additional computer literacy certificate)


DESIRED EDUCATION:  Reception / Secretarial /Personal Assistant / Administration training


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: None


DESIRED EXPERIENCE: Administrative experience in a healthcare setting


REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Recordkeeping
  • Patient administration system
  • Compliment and complaints management
  • Data capturing
  • Telephone etiquette
  • Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
  • Stock control processes
