A Safety Inspector / Safety Technician (Height Safety Systems Inspection & Testing) is needed to join Safesite a UK leader in height safety solutions. Expect a hands-on role carrying out recertification maintenance and product training of Fall Protection Products on sites as required throughout the UK. With full product training available this role is open to applications from candidates with transferrable skills from similar industries / environments! Reporting to the Recertification Manager the Safety Technician will undertake a varied workload including recertification of fall protection products using state-of-the-art software producing reports including photos of failed systems delivering onsite training repairing systems where applicable and any other related duties. Key Requirements: You should be a Safety Technician / Safety Inspector / Safety Systems Installer / Senior Safety Installer / Fall Protection Engineer / Surveyor / Height Safety Expert or similar with a CV that demonstrates: A background in on-site technical inspection / installation / testing;Experience installing Height Safety / Fall Protection Products (or transferable skills);That you are a team player whilst also happy to work on your own;A strong work ethic and a problem-solving outlook;Strong communication skills;The ability to work at height;A full UK Driving Licence;Willingness to Travel. Additional security screening may be required eg. DBS check.
