Job Description

The Territory Manager NDT is responsible for the direct sales and promotion of the Olympus IMS / Evident Non Destructive Testing product portfolio (NDT).

Key Result Areas

  • Delivery and development of business within own territory
  • Ensure Global marketing strategy is fully implemented in their UK region
  • Maintain a high level of technical expertise in the product portfolio.
  • NDT business unit’s key performance indicators

Sales performance against target

  • Sales forecast accuracy
  • Management of sales opportunities in line with the integrated sales process.
  • Update CRM daily with activities / quotations or sales opportunity progress.
  • Main Accountabilities

  • Shall implement and work to all applicable regulatory and quality requirements as stipulated within the company Procedure Manual, Quality Policy, and Quality Objectives.
  • Shall implement and work to all applicable Health, Safety and Environmental requirements as stipulated within the HSE Manual, HSE Policies, and HSE Objectives.
  • Define and execute a territory business plan aligned with the Evident Inspection Technologies strategic goals
  • Effectively manage the territory sales pipeline to ensure financial targets are met by leading and taking full ownership of all sales process activities from first contact to closing deals
  • Provide after-sales assistance by delivering commissioning and customer training
  • Develop and deliver customer sales presentations as per customer requirements
  • Work collaboratively to ensure a one Evident approach to our customers.
  • Developing and managing positive customers relationships
  • Drive continuous improvement by taking ownership of your professional development to support your growth within the organisation
  • Represent the organisation at exhibitions and customer workshops
  • Work across a wide variety of environments including; Manufacturing Quality Assurance and R+D facilities within several industries including; Automotive, Aerospace, Transport, Oil and Gas, Chemical, Power Generation, Electronics, Defence, Security and Research Facilities.
  • Qualifications

  • A higher-level education in science or engineering or NDT PCN’s would be an advantage
  • A full UK driving licence is essential.
  • Relevant experience in a scientific and / or engineering environment is essential
  • Experience of technical sales
  • Previous working experience with NDT technologies (UT / ECT,UTPA,ECA) is desirable
  • Clear and concise written and spoken communication skills
  • A higher-level education in science or engineering or NDT PCN’s would be an advantage
  • A high level of technical aptitude.
  • A strong commercial acumen
  • Good working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Ability to present technical information in a structured and balanced way
  • A good understanding of the sales process
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Willing to travel and occasionally work unsocial hours.
  • The desire to work hard and succeed in a competitive market.
