The Solution Sales Specialist will report into the Senior Vice President of Higher Education Vertical Market and will actively contribute to the Higher Education Vertical success as a digitally-drive world class infrastructure service organization, driving the sales force productivity and revenue through world class program management. In this role, you will act as a strategic and trusted advisor to Sales Leaders around the world, identifying, developing, and implementing initiatives that improve sales performance and customer satisfaction with a focus on digital selling. This position is a remote role, based out of the UK with occasional travel required globally to collaborate with Key Customer Accounts, Regions and Thought Leaders. Responsibilities • Steer and implement transformational projects with a focus on sales efficiency and effectiveness through digital sales i.e. inside sales, customer digital touch points, sales leads based on data insights and eCommerce models. • Scope that includes sales strategy and methodologies, global sales tools and enablement, sales data and analytics and sales culture • Combine strategic thinking with operational excellence to design end-to-end plans for solution development, deployment, and scaling • Implement scalable solution bundles tailored to the Higher Education market, ensuring clear value propositions and ease of deployment • Perform current-state assessments of sales outcomes to identify, prioritize and drive programs and process improvements aimed at increasing customer satisfaction and improving the sales experience - pushing for target achievements and beyond. • Drive measurable outcomes by enabling rapid adoption of standardized solutions, paving the way for more complex, customizable offerings • Sales Empowerment: Support sales organizations in developing and performing strategic business strategies, improving sales opportunities. • Develop global sales frameworks and standards in collaboration with global stakeholders to ensure sales productivity, effectiveness and quality. • Acts as trusted advisor to Sales and PreSales teams providing guidance on the planning, execution and measurement of portfolio development activities. Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience • Showcase the ability to energize, develop, and build rapport at all levels within an organization, creating a collaborative and growing environment. • Experience in B2B sales, Business Development, Sales Excellence and/or Digital Transformation Management within industry and/or management consultancies • Bringing immersive experience in higher education practice management, strategy, and digitalization. • Proven track record of implementing Sales Transformation projects, for example conducting process analysis and assessment for digital/inside sales, leveraging data analytics to assess sales effectiveness, and/or developing large, complex transformation programs, etc. • Ability to think strategically and creatively whilst also executing operationally with high attention to detail and operational excellence • Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve ambiguous and highly complex problems and thrive in fast-paced matrix environments while managing multiple work streams with matrixed resources and goals while balancing business needs • Exceptional communication skills including strong international collaboration and leadership proficiencies to connect and work across organizational boundaries, including engaging with stakeholders up to a senior management level • Passionate about making a positive customer impact while balancing business needs.
