Title: Workday Implementation Consultant

Location: Remote in UK

Salary: £65-80,000pa

Contract: Permanent

A growing consultancy with an international footprint is looking to bring in an experienced Workday professional to support a series of long term programmes for a major client. This role suits someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in high standards and wants to contribute meaningfully to complex HCM change activity.

You will play a central part in shaping and delivering Workday HCM solutions for a diverse programme of work. The environment is collaborative and fast moving, with a focus on delivering practical outcomes and maintaining strong working relationships with clients.

Main duties

* Taking ownership of configuration tasks throughout the HCM implementation cycle from design through to testing and release.

* Meeting with key contacts to understand what they need, then forming those needs into workable system solutions.

* Acting as the point of expertise on Workday core HCM and absence related functionality.

* Investigating issues and resolving them both during build activity and after systems go live.

* Managing your workload to meet agreed stages, milestones and delivery expectations.

What is essential

* Current certification in Workday HCM or Workday payroll.

* Hands on experience configuring Workday and supporting full lifecycle delivery.

* Strong grasp of HR operational processes and data structures.

* Clear and concise communication skills with the ability to guide stakeholders effectively.

What would be beneficial

* Certification in Workday absence functionality.

* Exposure to other Workday areas such as time related processes or reward modules.

* Understanding of Workday reporting or integration capabilities.
